Description

The Slash Bar 7 lies on the south side of Log Hill Mesa, just 10 miles west of the small town of Ridgway, CO. Telluride, with its world class ski area, festivals, shops, and restaurants, is a beautiful 50 minute drive over Dallas Divide and along the San Miguel River to the south. Montrose, the commercial, transportation, and medical center of the region, is 35 miles to the north of the ranch. Telluride and Montrose have daily flights to Denver, Houston, Dallas, and Phoenix year round, and add Newark and Los Angeles during the ski season. The Uncompahgre National Forest is just a few miles west of the ranch, offering tens of thousands of acres for hunting, fishing, and recreation. The Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, with its “Gold Medal” trout fishing and exciting white water rafting, lies about 40 miles northeast of the ranch. Perhaps one of the most desirable features of the Slash Bar 7’s location is its proximity to the prestigious Divide Club, one of Southwest Colorado’s best golf courses. The clubhouse is just 4.5 miles from the ranch.
